Bachrach Offers Advice for Prospective Vacation-Home Buyers
08 July 2021
Partner Dan Bachrach was quoted in a MarketWatch article, “Want to buy a vacation condo? Here’s what you need to know first,” about the factors would-be vacation-home buyers should weigh before making a purchase.
Bachrach said prospective buyers should pay attention to the length of the board minutes, which should be a few pages per hour at a minimum. If they’re less, he says, they’re not communicating enough. The content of the minutes should tell you if there have been bed bugs in the past, if owners are all paying their dues, future budgets and the general rules and regulations of the building and management firm.
