Foley & Lardner LLP acted as co-legal counsel to Numotion, the nation’s leading and largest provider of products and services that provide mobility, health and personal independence, in its acquisition of SpinLife.com, the market leader in online retail Durable Medical Equipment (DME) for the aging population, as well as people living with disabilities.
Headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, SpinLife provides a wide variety of DME categories, including scooters, lifts, power and manual wheelchairs, and a growing number of exclusive products, as well as other accessibility equipment.
Numotion’s acquisition of SpinLife joins two market leaders in retail and third-party reimbursed products and enables the combined company to serve more customers with a broader portfolio of products and services.
Lisa Stein, SpinLife Founder and CEO, will join the Numotion team as a member of its board of directors. All SpinLife employees will also join Numotion, and the SpinLife brand will remain in place.
The Foley team was led by partner Spencer Moats and included senior counsels Hannah Zaitlin, Rachel Goodman and Adam Hepworth, and associates Olivia King and Kara Schoonover.
