Of Counsel Mark Neuberger was quoted in a Compliance Week article, “COVID-19 vaccine mandates no less tricky after FDA approval,” about the growing number of employers who are mandating COVID-19 vaccines for some or all of their workers.
Neuberger said many employers look at vaccinations as critical to the health and safety of their organizations. “Private companies have the absolute right to implement a vaccine mandate if they want to, subject to compliance with any state or local mandates to the contrary,” he said. “The question is, should they?”
Each organization must make that decision based on its own unique circumstances, he added.
