Mark Neuberger Quoted on Potential Employer Impacts of COVID-19 Booster Shots
Of Counsel Mark Neuberger was quoted by The American City Business Journals in an article titled, “Why Covid-19 boosters could be another headache for employers,” that discusses the recommendations issued on September 24 about booster-shot eligibility by the CDC and Prevention Advisory Committee on Immunization Practice.
Neuberger does not expect boosters to be addressed with specific requirements in the initial OSHA guidance in part because booster recommendations currently only apply to the Pfizer vaccine. “Until booster shot [guidelines] become clearer, I don’t think there’s going to be a mandate for a booster shot,” he said. Neuberger then went on to add that he could envision the definition of “fully vaccinated” changing somewhere down the road.
