Foley & Lardner LLP announced today it served as the legal counsel for its Texas-based client, Airway Services, LLC (Airway Services, or Airway), in its acquisition by Takkion TP&L Holdings LLC (Takkion), a portfolio company of funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management, Inc. Takkion acquired Airway from family office-backed private investment firms Northaven Capital Partners and Concentric Equity Partners.
Airway Services is a leading full-service provider of on-demand technical staffing, project management and operations, and maintenance to OEMs and asset owners of utility-scale wind energy projects. The acquisition will complement Takkion’s portfolio of leading multimodal logistics and O&M services companies and enhance Takkion’s offerings to the renewable energy supply chain.
The Foley deal team was led by partner Alan Perkins and included partner Stephen Good and associates George Khalaf, and Richard Zaleskie. Additional Foley team members included partners Stephen Gilles, Kenneth Broodo, and Gregory Neppl.
