Foley Represents Origin Ventures and Venture 53 as Investors in $25M Growth Equity Investment in ClearJet
Foley & Lardner LLP recently represented Origin Ventures and Venture 53 as investors in the $25 million growth equity investment in ClearJet, a leader in parcel logistics infrastructure and orchestration for brands, e-commerce shippers, and 3PLs. The round was led by Edison Partners with additional participation from Salt VC and SpringTime Ventures.
ClearJet connects shippers with unused cargo space on commercial flights, delivering packages nationwide at the speed of air freight and the price of ground shipping. The company’s software-powered delivery network is carrier agnostic and combines the staffing, sorting, and ground infrastructure needed to move packages on planes already flying between American cities.
Origin Ventures is an early-stage venture capital firm investing in the infrastructure, software, applications, services, and marketplaces transforming productivity and automation through artificial intelligence.
The Foley team was led by partners Jeff Bowman and Louis Lehot and included senior counsel Scott Lin and associate Rachel Horewitz.
