Foley & Lardner LLP attorneys Chanley Howell, Vanessa Miller, Leighton Allen, and R.J. McVeigh authored the SupplyChainBrain article, “AI BOMs: The New Cybersecurity Imperative for Supply Chain Leaders.”
The article examines how AI bills of materials (AI-BOMs) and model provenance records can help organizations strengthen cybersecurity oversight of AI-powered supply chains by improving visibility into AI systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and enhancing accountability across vendor relationships.
“Organizations that wait for industry standards to fully mature or for a breach to force their hand will find themselves at a disadvantage with regulators, customers and insurers alike. The time to act is now,” the authors emphasize.
