Brian additionally assists clients in formulating strategies to manage risk, including clearance opinions, challenges to third party intellectual property, and license and settlement agreements, and is well-versed in litigating various patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret issues, including pharmaceutical and biotechnology patent litigation.

Prior to joining Foley, Brian was a partner at a boutique IP firm in New Jersey, where he worked closely with clients to develop and execute global IP strategies that support their business goals and provided critical counsel during complex corporate transactions.
