Matthew Myungchul An represents public and privately held companies, financial institutions, and private equity sponsors in all stages of corporate finance transactions. His work spans over multiple industries and diverse debt capital structures, including acquisition financings, syndicated and bilateral financings, mezzanine financings, bridge financings, asset-based and cash flow financings, and multiple lien and subordinated debt financings. He also regularly represents insurance companies in insurance-wrapped intellectual property-backed financings.
His experience ranges from corporate law to banking, real estate and aircraft finance, energy and infrastructure as well as compliance law and has worked in multiple law firms in Korea. He also has experience working in fortune 500 companies as Legal Counsel and as Director of Trade and Regulatory Affairs.
Matt is a member of the firm’s Finance Group. Prior to joining Foley, he was a special finance counsel in the Finance Group of Proskauer Rose LLP.
