Amani Kmeid is a Boston-based litigation associate in both the Intellectual Property Litigation and the Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Groups. Amani represents clients in several industries in this unique practice, ranging from complex commercial issues to intellectual property licensing disputes. Their experience spans not only state and district courts, but also arbitration proceedings before the American Arbitration Association.
Prior to joining Foley, Amani served as a student attorney at the Legal Services Center of Harvard Law School, where they represented and counseled indigent clients regarding family law and domestic violence issues. Amani was also a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant. Amani also served as an immigration intern for the Human Rights Committee in Tucson, AZ, where they assisted refugees, asylum seekers, and local family members in completing and filing applications and petitions for the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services agency.
