Emma Leider brings diverse experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on embedded systems to her role as a patent engineer at Foley.

Before joining Foley, Emma worked as a manufacturing engineering intern at Kohler Co., where she developed gemba scripts for assembly line work instructions, researched HDMI wireless extender devices, and maintained digital work instruction equipment across multiple lines.

She also gained experience as a technical assistance intern at Graco Inc., directly supporting customers with product troubleshooting and contributing to improvements in the company’s technical support processes.

As an electrical engineering student, Emma contributed to several innovative projects, including implementing a single-cycle processor, optimizing a Morse code decoder, building a multi-system robot designed to push other robots out of a ring, designing circuitry for a chessboard that illuminates potential moves, and developing a control system that automatically scans and digitally catalogs trading cards.
