Bella Tappin works in our Business Law department as a member of the firm’s Transactions Practice Group in Silicon Valley. She began at Foley as a summer associate in 2024. Her work focuses on venture capital, mergers & acquisitions, and corporate restructuring.

Prior to law school, Bella researched and patented an invention in predictive artificial intelligence. She founded an early-stage company, where she led the company formation, initial rounds of funding, software development, and corporate strategy.

Bella graduated from UC Davis School of Law in 2025. During law school, she worked as a judicial extern for the Sacramento Superior Court and served as a Senior Notes and Comments Editor for the UC Davis Law Review.
