Foley & Lardner LLP partner Nate Imfeld received a shout out in The Am Law Litigation Daily column for his recent appellate victory on behalf of Daimler Trucks North America.
“Shout-out to a Foley & Lardner team led by partner Nate Imfeld that secured a ruling from the First Circuit for client Daimler Truck North America striking down a Rhode Island law limiting car makers’ ability to establish a new dealership near its existing in-state dealerships, even outside the state,” Am Law writes. “The appellate court held this week that the state law violated the Dormant Commerce Clause, upholding a district court ruling.”
