Foley Advises Hanger Ventures on Investment in Prosthetic Fit 360
Foley & Lardner LLP represented Hanger Ventures, a subsidiary of Hanger, Inc., in its investment in Prosthetic Fit 360. The Washington-based company is developing Limn Fit™, a sensor-based system designed to provide continuous, data-driven insights into prosthetic socket fit.
Founded by Conor Lanahan, Ph.D., and developed with support from CoMotion, the innovation hub at the University of Washington, Prosthetic Fit 360 embeds sensors into prosthetic sockets and liners to monitor fit dynamics in real time and generate clinically meaningful metrics for patients and clinicians.
As part of the investment, Hanger will support a pilot study evaluating Limn Fit’s clinical and economic value, including how continuous monitoring may improve socket modification, reduce unnecessary follow-up visits, and support clinical efficiency.
Hanger Ventures invests in entrepreneurs and small businesses that ignite clinical and technical advances in orthotics and prosthetics and is part of the Hanger, Inc. ecosystem of diversified companies. Hanger Ventures is focused on accelerating innovation, developing technology, and improving patient outcomes worldwide.
