Foley Advises Mayville Engineering Company on Southeast Strategic Expansion
Foley & Lardner LLP served as legal advisor to Mayville Engineering Company (NYSE: MEC) in its acquisition of a 138,000-square-foot finishing facility and related assets in Thomson, Georgia.
The transaction broadens MEC’s manufacturing footprint in the Southeastern United States, further expanding the company’s capacity to serve growing demand in the high-value Datacenter & Critical Power end market. The acquisition builds on Foley’s prior work for MEC, including MEC’s 2025 acquisition of Accu-Fab, LLC, a supplier to leading OEMs in the critical power infrastructure, data center, and renewable energy end markets.
MEC is a leading U.S.-based, vertically-integrated, value-added manufacturing partner providing a full suite of manufacturing solutions from concept to production, including design, prototyping and tooling, fabrication, aluminum extrusion, coating, assembly, and aftermarket components.
Foley’s transaction team was led by partner Bryan Schultz, alongside partners Joe Rupkey and Amanda Beggs and associates Abby Hutchinson and Kameron Adams.
