Foley & Lardner LLP represented the sports and media company Whistle in its acquisition of Vertical Networks, a mobile-first content studio founded by Elizabeth Murdoch and backed by Snap. The acquisition will help Whistle expand its investment in lifestyle content.
Earlier this year Foley represented the Whistle in its acquisition of Los Angeles-based New Form, by which Discovery, ITV, Ron Howard and Brian Grazer became Whistle shareholders. Through these acquisitions, Whistle is on pace to double its revenue in 2019.
