Thimke discusses potential climate legislation that will require businesses to disclose carbon emissions as Congress moves to enact a federal system to regulate emissions of greenhouse gases. He adds that businesses will have to disclose what it will cost to curb their emissions and if there is a physical effect on their business from climate change disruptions such as hurricanes or high water.
