The U.S. News – Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms” rankings are based on a rigorous evaluation process that includes the collection of client and lawyer evaluations and peer reviews from leading attorneys in their field. Achieving a tiered ranking signals a unique combination of high-quality law practice and broad legal expertise. To be eligible for a national or metropolitan practice ranking, a law firm must have at least one lawyer from that practice listed in The Best Lawyers in America, which recognizes the top 5 percent of practicing attorneys in the United States.
