Maureen Easton is a partner and business lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. She concentrates her practice on transactional matters, including mergers, acquisitions, securities law compliance, finance, and private equity and venture capital transactions. Ms. Easton is a member of the Transactional & Securities, Finance & Financial Institutions, and Private Equity & Venture Capital Practices and the Manufacturing and Food & Beverage Industry Teams.
Ms. Easton advises public and private companies in all aspects of corporate governance and represents borrowers and lenders in commercial financing transactions and public and private companies with respect to their compliance with the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. She also advises start-up ventures in connection with formation and general corporate matters.
Prior to joining Foley, Ms. Easton was an associate at K&L Gates.
Ms. Easton earned her law degree, cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School (J.D., 2007) and her undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa, where she studied journalism and political science (B.A., 2004).
Ms. Easton is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and Illinois.
