Saige Gallop is an associate and business/IP lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP, based in the firm’s San Diego office, where she is a member of the firm’s Technology Transactions & Outsourcing Practice.
Saige began her career with Foley as a summer associate. She worked with the firm’s IP Litigation and Technology Transactions & Outsourcing Practices. She researched and analyzed the law on complex intellectual property issues and wrote briefs and collaboration agreements. She also aided attorneys conducting discovery of various data in preparation for litigation.
While a student at the University of San Diego School of Law, Saige was a teaching assistant in the Legal Writing Department where she evaluated research exercises, consulted with students about their legal writing and citations during weekly office hours and helped prepare research assignments for the first-year curriculum. Saige was also a research assistant for Professor Christopher T. Wonnell. She edited a manuscript for Professor Wonnell’s book discussing the Industrial Revolution and the law.
Saige was a legal extern for the Honorable Jill L. Burkhardt in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. She wrote “Report and Recommendation” memoranda for the Judge on substantive federal law issues, conducted legal research on habeas corpus and section 1983 issues and observed settlement and early neutral evaluation conferences.
