Atmos Energy Corp.'s Mid-Tex Division has named Gardere Environmental Partner Fran Phillips to its regional Customer Advisory Board in Dallas. The CAB provides community guidance about customer issues and market opportunities for Atmos Energy.
"As Atmos Energy continues its focus on customer service, Fran's skills will add to the CAB to help us continue to keep our promises to our customers," says Sandra Doyle, director of public affairs for the Mid-Tex Division.
In addition to her legal practice, Fran serves as the president of Keep Dallas Beautiful and is active in several community organizations, including the Dallas Opera, Dallas FORUM and International Women's Forum. She has received numerous honors, including a Bronze Medal for the Establishment of the EPA's Minority Business Enterprise Program, a Distinguished Government Service Award, the Arthur S. Flemming Award from George Washington University (one of 10 outstanding federal civil servants in the country) and the Ebby Rose of Distinction, which is presented to individuals who have improved the lives of others in the community.
The other CAB members are Lisa Bormaster, Denise Bunkley, Gary Cumbie, Charles Eisemann, Lois G. Finkelman, Daniel P. Lopez, Bob Morris, Grace McDermott, Rosa Navejar, Elzie Odom, Edna Pemberton, Angel Reyes III and Jennifer Sampson.
