Ridley Named Bay Area Most Influential Woman in Business
Foley is pleased to announce that Eileen Ridley has been named one of the Bay Area’s Most Influential Women in Business by the San Francisco Business Times. Per the Business Times, recipients of this prestigious recognition represent the highest-ranking corporate women in the Northern California region.
Ms. Ridley received this distinguished honor due to her extraordinary professional achievements, which include being selected by Foley’s senior management for multiple governance positions within the firm, maintaining a distinguished track record of litigating, arbitrating and trying cases, and serving on various boards that highlight her personal commitment to diversity and community service.
During her tenure with Foley, Ms. Ridley has held many significant governance positions. Currently she serves as vice-chair of the firm’s Litigation Department, with responsibility for overseeing the integration of the department’s 12 national practice groups. She is also managing partner of Foley’s San Francisco office. In this role she is responsible for overseeing the office’s financial performance, client relationships and operational needs.
Ms. Ridley has also held multiple board-level assignments on Foley’s Diversity, Pro Bono and Partner Selection Committees, and currently serves as co-chair of the firm’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Affinity Group. Committed to giving back to the local community, she is active in a number of programs supporting diversity as sponsored by the Bar Association of San Francisco and the Bay Area Chapter of the Human Rights Campaign.
Ms. Ridley’s profile will be featured in an upcoming special edition of the San Francisco Business Times, and she will be recognized at an awards dinner to be held at the Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco.
