Foley announced today that Chambers and Partners has named Francisco Cerezo, Michael Kaminski, Stephen Maebius and John Murphy in the Chambers Global 2014 guide. Francisco Cerezo was recognized for his activity on deals in Puerto Rico and for representing a number of state-owned entities in the commonwealth, including the Municipal Finance Agency, the Public Buildings Authority and the Government Development Bank.
Michael Kaminski was recognized as a popular choice of counsel among clients requiring expertise in the Japanese IP space and was praised for the skilled and experienced approach he takes to handling matters. His practice includes a strong focus on representing those working within the chemical engineering, pharmaceutical and chemical arenas.
Stephen Maebius was recognized for his impressive levels of expertise in the patent space. His practice includes a key focus on the Japanese market, and he is also commended for his expertise in the nanotechnology arena.
John Murphy was recognized for his expertise in handling transactions that involve Latin American sectors and clients. He recently advised multilateral bank Corporacion Andina de Fomento on a $30 million line of credit facility extended to a major Latin American infrastructure consultancy.
To compile its annual list, Chambers and Partners conducted thousands of interviews with attorneys and their clients within a wide range of industries. Interview participants from more than 180 countries were asked to recommend attorneys and firms they use most often for top-tier legal work.
