Gardere Shows Strength in Numbers With 64 Attorneys Named to Best Lawyers in America 2018
DALLAS – With 64 lawyers selected for inclusion in the 2018 edition of The Best Lawyers in America©, Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP continues to emphasize excellence among its attorneys and the legal profession as a whole.
Further exemplifying Gardere’s strength as a full-service law firm, of counsel Jeffrey M. Gaba was named the Best Lawyers® 2018 Environmental Law “Lawyer of the Year” in Dallas-Fort Worth. The “Lawyer of the Year” accolade is bestowed upon only one lawyer in a particular region for each practice area.
“We congratulate the many lawyers recognized by their peers as being among the best in the industry,” said Gardere chair Holland N. O’Neil. “This acknowledgement of the 64 Gardere lawyers identified is a reflection on their dedication to their practices, colleagues and clients.”
More than one-third of the attorneys on the list have been included in Best Lawyers for 10 or more years, and three of those lawyers – partners Larry L. Schoenbrun, Lawrence J. Pirtle and Jack W. Hawkins – have been included for 25 or more years.

For the 2018 Edition of The Best Lawyers in America, 7.3 million votes were analyzed, which resulted in almost 55,000 leading lawyers being included in the new edition.
