Foley & Lardner LLP partner Christopher Cain is quoted in the Full Service Restaurant News article, “The Surge of FUNctional Cocktails,” offering his perspective on the rise of the adaptogen beverage market.
Cain, who is co-chair of Foley’s Transactions Practice Group, estimated that the adaptogen beverage market will reach over $13 billion by 2026 and added that restaurants are poised to benefit, though he cautioned beverage makers on how they market their products.
“Avoid making unwarranted, undocumented ‘health benefits’ or similar claims,” Cain said.
