Foley & Lardner LLP of counsel William Holtz was quoted in Reuters on the FDA advisory committee’s review of potential changes to peptide compounding regulations.
Holtz said the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services view “will likely hold more weight” in the review process. “The law gives the Secretary of Health and Human Services the authority to determine what goes on that list,” he added, referring to the substances allowed for compounding under federal law.
