Jon Gabriel is a seasoned corporate lawyer providing pragmatic, business-oriented advice to public and private companies and private equity and venture investors in a wide range of industries. He is a partner in the firm’s Transactions Practice Group and is a member of the firm’s Manufacturing and Health Care & Life Sciences Sectors.
Jon focuses on complex mergers and acquisitions and venture and growth equity financings. He also advises growth companies, from start-up through exit, on formation, financing, strategic transactions, cross-border, equity and executive compensation arrangements, corporate governance, and other matters.

- Represented Tier 1 automotive supplier in an US$800m strategic acquisition and a series of corporate venture capital investments focused on electrified mobility
- Represented private equity sponsor in initial and follow-on acquisitions for a behavioral health platform
- Represented privately held digital security company in US$300m sale to a large strategic acquirer
- Represented emerging company in connection with a minority investment by an overseas strategic investor
- Represented growth equity investor in connection with multiple minority investments in healthcare and technology companies
- Represented private equity client in US$270m acquisition of private equity-sponsored manufacturing company
- Represented U.S. public company in US$40m cross-border acquisition of privately held software company
- Represented rapidly growing technology company in multiple venture capital and strategic partner financing rounds
- Represented private equity-sponsored health care technology company in US$130m sale to major international corporation
