Raymond (R.J.) McVeigh is a commercial litigation attorney representing international, national, and regional clients. R.J.’s practice focuses on complex contractual disputes and supply chain counseling with an emphasis on automotive supply chain litigation.

R.J. has extensive experience litigating commercial disputes, often involving tens of millions of dollars, in both state and federal courts, including supply chain disputes, shareholder oppression, business torts, real property disputes and breach of contract, and warranty claims. R.J. has experience negotiating favorable settlements for clients, including assistance on multi-million dollar matters. R.J. has managed complex electronic discovery involving tens of thousands of documents and spanning multiple continents.

Prior to joining Foley, R.J. served as a law clerk to the Honorable Daniel P. Collins of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. R.J. graduated with honors from Harvard Law School where he was an editor and committee chair on the Harvard Law Review and the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy, the nation’s leading journal focusing on legal policy and debates.
