Foley Advises CloserStill Media in Acquisition of Billington Cybersecurity

Foley & Lardner LLP served as legal advisor to CloserStill Media, the producer of market-leading business events, exhibitions, and conferences, in its acquisition of leading U.S. public sector cybersecurity conference and event organizer Billington Cybersecurity.

The acquisition further strengthens CloserStill’s North American portfolio, which includes over 25 events and 125 employees specifically focused on the technology, infrastructure, and health care portfolios. Globally, CloserStill continues to accelerate its presence in high-growth technology markets, including multiple cybersecurity events across the world. CloserStill Media specializes in high-value, content-driven events and the nurturing of B2B or professional communities. The company operates events across a wide range of sub-vertical sectors within Business Technologies, Healthcare, Learning HR & Education, and Future Transport & Infrastructure with 850 employees across the globe and offices in the U.K., U.S., Germany, Spain, and Singapore.
