Foley & Lardner LLP served as legal advisor to Spinnaker Resorts Inc. in its acquisition by Travel + Leisure Co. (NYSE: TNL), a leading leisure travel company.
Travel + Leisure Co. acquired all of the issued and outstanding shares of Spinnaker Resorts, adding Spinnaker Resorts’ portfolio of vacation ownership resorts to Travel + Leisure Co.’s network.
Spinnaker Resorts, founded in 1982 and headquartered in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, has built a more than 40-year legacy in the timeshare industry with a reputation for quality and customer satisfaction. Spinnaker Resorts develops, markets, and provides property management for a portfolio of 11 vacation ownership resorts across four destinations: Hilton Head Island, South Carolina; Ormond Beach, Florida; Branson, Missouri; and Williamsburg, Virginia.
