Overview Events Intelligence Nathan D. Imfeld Associate nimfeld foley.com Download vCard Nate Imfeld is an associate and commercial litigator with Foley & Lardner LLP. He has represented clients in a wide variety of matters, including distributor disputes, False Claims Act and Sarbanes-Oxley whistleblower complaints, and commercial contract, loan guaranty, and minority shareholder litigation. Prior to joining Foley, Mr. Imfeld served as judicial law clerk to Justice Annette K. Ziegler of the Wisconsin Supreme Court. During law school, Mr. Imfeld was an intern for both the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the Governor of Wisconsin in the Office of Legal Counsel. He also completed an externship with the Wisconsin Department of Justice Civil Litigation Unit. Education Mr. Imfeld earned his law degree from Marquette University Law School (J.D., cum laude, 2013), where he was lead articles editor for the Marquette Intellectual Property Law Review. He was also a chapter president of the Federalist Society and a student volunteer at the Marquette Legal Initiative for Nonprofit Corporations. Mr. Imfeld earned his bachelor’s degree in philosophy from The American University (B.A., cum laude, 2008). Community Engagement Mr. Imfeld has donated hundreds of hours of pro bono representation to indigent community members, and actively supports local non-profit organizations with free legal services. In addition to his legal work in the community, Mr. Imfeld is also an active member of the FUEL Milwaukee Creative Council, a membership organization dedicated to ensuring a vibrant, inclusive Milwaukee through community engagement, regional development, and improved workplaces.
