Foley Assists MAKO Surgical Corp. in Connection with Acquisition by Stryker Corporation

Foley has assisted MAKO Surgical Corp., a medical device company primarily focused on orthopedic products, in connection with matters related to MAKO’s acquisition by Stryker Corporation. Subject to the terms of a definitive acquisition agreement, Stryker will acquire all of MAKO’s outstanding shares for $30 per share in cash, resulting in an aggregate purchase price of approximately $1.65 billion.
