Kate M. Kros
Senior Public Affairs Advisor
Kate M. Kros is a senior public affairs advisor with Foley & Lardner LLP’s Government Solutions Practice Group and brings over 15 years of experience in grassroots advocacy, federal policy and strategic communications to her work advising clients. In her role, Kate develops and deploys advocacy strategies, leveraging bipartisan connections on and off Capitol Hill. Among other things, Kate also provides clients with legislative, regulatory, and research-based policy insights, oversees federal and state compliance for the firm and clients, and assists in management of political giving.
Prior to Foley, Kate spent eight years at a consulting firm connecting 80+ non-profit organizations, trade associations, and stakeholders with legislators, training thousands of self-advocates on how to successfully communicate with their members of Congress and executing large-scale advocacy fly-ins in district offices and on Capitol Hill. She scheduled hundreds of bipartisan, bicameral meetings yearly with every member of Congress. Kate is a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

- President, Wisconsin State Society (2025 – Present)
- The Wisconsin State Society is a congressionally-chartered organization that is part of the National Conference of State Societies (NCSS). As President, Kate oversees the Board of Directors, spearheads a variety of programming, and maintains close ties to the Wisconsin congressional delegation.

- As President, Kate represented and engaged over 2,000 alumni in the DC area.
Community Involvement
Kate continues to volunteer regularly at Catholic Charities – Archdiocese of Washington. In the past, she has overseen meal programs and game nights at various Catholic Charities locations. She advocates on behalf of Catholic Charities to various stakeholders in the community.
