Associate

Sarina Rogers is a member of our Transactions Practice Group and is based in our San Diego office.

Sarina began at Foley as a summer associate and gained valuable insights into complex legal matters, contributing to projects that required strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Prior to law school, Sarina worked as on onsite specialist at the UC San Diego Medical Center, providing clinical surgical support. In addition to her medical background, Sarina holds a BS in Biological Psychology. Her unique background allows her to tie together clinical and technical skills to best support her clients, especially in the Health Care & Life Sciences sector.

Since joining the firm, Sarina has built a versatile transactional practice representing both companies and investors across the full lifecycle of corporate growth — from seed-stage venture capital financings to late-stage rounds exceeding $200 million and strategic acquisitions. In the health care and life sciences sector, she regularly advises on high-value venture financings for clinical-stage biotechnology and therapeutics companies, as well as M&A transactions involving health technology platforms. Her technology, fintech, and AI practice is equally robust, encompassing acquisitions, Series A through Series C financings, strategic growth equity investments, and seed-stage deals on behalf of leading venture capital funds such as New Enterprise Associates (NEA), Cortical Ventures, and Cervin Ventures. Sarina’s deal experience spans a wide range of transaction sizes and structures, reflecting her ability to navigate the distinct regulatory, commercial, and strategic considerations that arise across each of these sectors.
