Andrew J. Salomone



Andrew (AJ) Salomone is an associate and intellectual property attorney with Foley & Lardner LLP. Andrew is based in the firm’s Milwaukee office where he is a member of the Mechanical & Electromechanical Technologies Practice, the Innovative Technology Sector, and the Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) Team.

Prior to joining Foley, Andrew worked for a boutique intellectual property law firm where he assisted clients with patent prosecution, trademark prosecution, and trademark litigation matters. Andrew was also a summer associate in Foley’s Milwaukee office in 2018 and 2019. 

Before attending law school, Andrew worked as a supplier development engineer for a Wisconsin-based hydraulic and electro-mechanical control system manufacturer. In this role, Andrew worked closely with key suppliers — including cast iron foundries, heavy machining suppliers, and precision machining suppliers — to facilitate new product launches and proactively address quality concerns. Andrew also earned his Six Sigma Black Belt.
