Andrew (AJ) Salomone focuses his practice on drafting and prosecuting both utility and design patent applications for mechanical-, electrical-, and software-related inventions. He represents clients in the automotive, construction equipment, and outdoor sporting goods industries, among others. He also regularly drafts patent opinions and provides counsel on enforcing and protecting patent rights, including pre-litigation enforcement campaigns and infringement analyses of competitor products.

Before joining Foley, AJ was a supplier development engineer for a Wisconsin-based hydraulic and electromechanical control system manufacturer, where he worked closely with key suppliers — including cast iron foundries, heavy machining suppliers, and precision machining suppliers — to launch new products and proactively address quality concerns.
