Foley Represents Balanced Rock Power in Equity Investment by Israeli Renewables Firm

Foley & Lardner LLP acted as legal advisor to Balanced Rock Power, a Utah-based developer of high-quality, large-scale renewable energy projects, in the completion of an equity investment by SG Energy, an Israeli renewables energy company.
The deal establishes a long-term partnership to support Balanced Rock’s growth in the U.S., the two companies announced. The partnership includes the funding of ongoing development activities as well as a letter of credit facility to support the development of new energy projects.
The Foley team included partners Jeff Atkin, Jason Allen, John Dunlap and Raj Tanden, along with special counsel Marina Choundas and associate Ryan Riffle.
